Do you need a cannabis license to photograph my products?
No. Photography is a service, not a license-holding activity. I never grow, process, sell, transport, or handle product. Your staff places and moves everything, and I follow your facility’s visitor sign-in and escort rules.
What do you photograph?
Packaged products, jars and cartridges, loose flower in macro, hash rosin and other solventless concentrates, pre-rolls, grow rooms, wash and press areas, and your team. Product shots are done on a black or white seamless background or glossy acrylic for the reflection look.
How do you keep hash rosin from melting under the lights?
Rosin softens with heat, so I shoot concentrates with cool LED lighting, keep each piece under the lights for as short a time as possible, and have your team keep product chilled until its turn. Texture shots get done first while the rosin is at its best.
Will your photos be compliant with Ohio advertising rules?
I shoot to avoid the common problems: no consumption, no one who could look under 21, no cartoon or kid-appealing props, and no health claims in anything I write. Your compliance lead still gets final approval, because they know your license and the Division of Cannabis Control’s current rules best.
Can I use the photos on Instagram and online menus?
Yes. Every package includes square and 4:5 crops for menus and social. Keep in mind Instagram and Facebook limit cannabis promotion and don’t allow paid cannabis ads, so the photos are made for organic posts, menus, wholesale sheets, and your website.
How much does cannabis product photography cost?
Packages start at $300 for up to 10 products. A full brand library is $600, and an on-site facility shoot with a short reel is $750. Add-ons like a rosin press reel or macro set are listed on the services page.
How fast do I get the photos?
Most product shoots deliver in 3 to 5 business days. Facility shoots with video take 5 to 7. Rush delivery within 48 hours is available for $100.
Who owns the photos?
You get a commercial use license for your website, menus, wholesale materials, packaging mockups, and social posts. Ziegler Media Co keeps the copyright and may show the work in its portfolio unless we agree otherwise in writing.
How do I pay?
A $100 deposit holds your date, and the balance is due at delivery. Payment is handled by secure link or invoice. The deposit is refundable under the standard cancellation policy linked in the footer.
Where do you travel?
Home base is Oxford, Ohio. Cincinnati, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky are covered with no travel fee in most cases. Columbus and Cleveland are available with travel quoted before you book.
